A Complementary and Free Service
The lawn care tips I provide on this website were written with the intention for the service and betterment of my lawn mowing customers lawns. I understand that the internet is a vast enormous space and that this content on this tiny lawn mowing website will also be available to read by everyone else, as such I may have and probably have modified articles for a general Australian readership too.
However, at it's core reason for existence, this is the website of a humble unimportant lawn mowing man from Perth, I am not a lawn care expert, I have not studied lawns as a professor in a university all of my life, neither have I spent the last decades carrying hundreds of litres of lawn treatment chemicals in the back of my ute, neither do I study botanical ailments under a microscope.
The lawn care tips on this website come from my decades of on-the-ground experience every day in lawn mowing services, seeing lawn problems, advising on fixing lawn problems, seeing what works well with lawn care and what does not, knowing from vast experience how to take care of lawns for maximum health, seeing the different lawn types and knowing how they each perform and what their strengths, limitations and weaknesses are. I've seen lawns get sick and then get healthy, and I've advised in those scenarios over decades. I've seen when errors are made and when ideas are successful. I've seen guesses be right and assuredness be wrong. I've seen healthy lawns for years suddenly go bad for no apparent reason. I see problems and I adjust, I perceive problems soon to come and also adjust. I've been working with lawns for a very long time.
The lawn care tips on this website represent my best intention to share the best of my knowledge with others, particularly my customers but anyone at all really. These lawn care tips also represent the best of my knowledge with the best understanding that I have, based on my many years of experience in the lawn mowing industry in Australia.
I'm not perfect however, and while I try my best to give the best possible advice, an error might appear occasionally in regards to the best treatment option for a lawn problem, or I might prefer to treat a problem or do something with lawns that another person might do differently, I might not explain myself clearly enough in my writings which can lead to a misunderstanding by the reader, I might have explained myself perfectly and maybe even hit the nail on the head with the lawn problem and solution that a reader might have and they might still misunderstand or misdiagnose or mistreat a lawn problem, or they might make an adjustment to a lawn by their own understanding but then mixing some things that I write into their own understanding and get something wrong. Even a face to face discussion and instruction can be misunderstood, forgotten, mistaken.
It is also possible that whatever is wrong with your lawn, or whatever question you may have, may not find an answer on this site at all, or you may misinterpret or misdiagnose any manner of things with your lawn or my writings.
I've done my best to make the best lawn care information available on this website to those who might come across the site in their online travels and for my customers, based on my experience, my own personal studies, my own personal usages and practices in regard to all lawn care practices which have come to my attention over so many years.
With all of these things in mind, this website should be considered as a general and basic informational source about the lawn care topics being discussed, and not as a doctoral self diagnosis of lawn problems services, which cannot possibly exist in the real world.
I would therefore encourage anyone visiting this site who may have serious concerns about their lawns to contact a lawn care professional in your area, who can personally visit your property, professionally diagnose any lawn problems, and then to treat the lawn on the spot with professional grade products which are specifically suited to any properly diagnosed lawn problem.
Anyone with serious intent on resolving any lawn problems should therefore consider this website and the content on this website as a basic first understanding of the many different aspects of lawn care and lawn problems, which knowledge can then be built upon by relevant lawn care professionals who can indeed diagnose any problems and provide treatments with absolute certainty of whatever issues may be present.
Anyone else who has serious intent on studying all aspects of lawns, lawn problems, and lawn care can find a wealth of academic and scientific information about all of these topics online, and can study and train to their heart's content. But in respect to such serious studies this website should be viewed as the first baby steps before the ardent student moves onto more serious and studious fare.
